Please join our new President, Marianne Duvendack, as she discusses what visitors need to know when they are in Bison territory. Marianne studied Bison and lived with them while being a naturalist with the National Park Service. There are two pure-bred herds of Bison in the US: one in Yellowstone National Park and one in Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Marianne worked at both of these National Parks and was fortunate enough to take part in a research project involving Bison when she was at Yellowstone. Marianne will share her understanding of these native beasts through photos and memories of her many encounters.
Remember: this Program will be at the Ward Pavilion located at 4830 Central Avenue in Toledo.
