Depending on ice conditions on the lake and river, we could see close to 15 duck species and hope for views of some good winter gulls such as Glaucous, Iceland, and Lesser Black-Backed. Potential areas to visit include north Toledo, the Maumee River, and Bayshore Road. Dress warmly, pack your favorite hot beverage, and be ready to meet leader Tom Kemp at 8:30 a.m. at a location that will be decided closer to the date based on seasonal conditions and bird activity.
