Please meet Mike Sweeney at the Castalia Duck Pond at 10 am. The small pond is only 10 acres but fed by artesian springs, so it remains ice-free all winter. We will be searching for wintering ducks and gulls which are attracted to the open water and be looking around the area for other wintering birds. Remember to dress for the weather!
