Northwest Ohio lies within the 124 mile wide path where the moon will totally obscure the sun for about 2 minutes.

The science behind the phenomenon of a solar eclipse, safety precautions that should be taken when viewing the eclipse, and viewing locality options will all be discussed during the program.
