    8/30, Pearson (north): In the morn., a BTBW was in the young trees just n. of the tower. It looked like an ad. male. But I know the im. males look much like the ad.’s. This was the earliest in autumn I’ve seen. A COMO was calling from the wetl. rest. s.e. of the tower. It seemed noteworthy because they’re scarcer than they used to be. Also, it’s out of the ordinary to get 1 this far from the lakeside marshes.
